“Beautiful place along Lake Erie. Love that it's in the water. Fun bar next door. Lots of places to walk or benches/swings to sit and enjoy the views. The sunset in the swimming cove was lovely. Nickel Beach down the road was nice ($7 parking) and cleaner than the beach by the hotel. Plenty of places to eat in Sandusky which is 11 minutes away. Typical breakfast, clean room and extremely comfy beds. Worth the stop!”

“Our room looked decent until I went into the bathroom lifted the seat and saw a CLOGGED TOILET. Someone took a dump before us and the HOTEL DIDN’T CLEAN OUR ROOM. I just instantly felt disgusting. If they didn’t clean the toilet, they probably didn’t clean the sink, our bed, the floors. I went to the front desk about it and they didn’t have any other rooms for us to stay. They unclogged the toilet for us. The front desk lady was nice and understanding about it. Hotel is very standard. Nothing……

“We had a nice stay. The bedding and rooms were very clean in our second room. The first room we were given had a sticky desk and a discolored toilet bowl - which according to staff was due to a cleaner that was used. It looked disgusting (as if residue had been there a long time) and we requested a new room. The breakfast included eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy so it was beyond the typical fare. Would we stay again? Yes as the staff was very nice and the 2nd room we were given was very……
