“Our return ferry trip was cancelled, so instead of driving 3+ hours with my granddaughter, I figured we'd stay somewhere inexpensive. While there are features such as cleanliness and service that rate 5 stars, this is not a 5 star property. It is an extremely well maintained and clean 1950s motel, right across the street from the boardwalk and beach. “My husband and I did a quick trip to Wildwood for the holiday weekend! We stayed at El Ray previously. In fact, for the past 3 years! The rooms are always clean, AC works well especially in 90 degree weather! The staff is super nice and very accommodating!! The location is very convenient! Just a 5 minute walk to the boardwalk! Free parking right on the premises!! Upon checking out, we noticed we left some items in the room. By the time we arrived home we called Sam the motel manager and……
