“Couldn't check in because I didn't have enough on my card for the deposit and pet fee that was not advertised. I was in a desperate position and I'm sure came off high strung. The front desk person took great joy in telling me how happy he was that I wouldn't get my money back, because I had already paid for the room. I thought I was going to have to sleep in my car, 900 miles from home. Luckily I found a safer hotel.”

“Room smelled musty. Temperature control had a low battery warning. Maintenance replaced the batteries. Bathroom had light bulbs burnt out. Holes in the bathroom room wall from the door towel holder hitting the wall. Breakfast was okay. Normal breakfast fare. Good location. Think I would try another hotel in the area if I went back to that area.”

“The hotel is outdated. Which isn't the main issue. While showering, the faucet began to move, at first I though I was seeing things since I did not sleep well. The A/C unit was LOUD! The faucet moved again, and then it went flying off the wall of the shower. The water was just coming out the the pipe in the wall. I had put it back on and hold it with my knee to finish my shower. Thankfully I was not hurt by the flying object, however the front desk just said, oh man when I showed him a picture……

“If you'd like to stay next to a highway with a steady stream of big rigs going by from early in the morning until late at night, all using their air brakes to slow down for the roundabout, this is the place for you. Don't think about peace and quiet, there isn't any. This is an ancient building located in the center of traffic. It was a mistake to stay there. We don't recommend it for any reason unless you don't need sleep.
Now, the antique nature of the building is "cute" but not practical.……
