“Top notch, it wasn’t our first choice (because we are loyalty members at a chain nearby) but it definitely will be next time! Convenient location less than 3 miles from Emerald Isle. Easy check in with pleasant staff. Very clean all around, nice outdoor pool, workout room, dining area for the continental breakfast (good coffee btw). We had a good sized room with a jacuzzi, very comfortable mattress and even though our room faced the street, it was so quiet. Absolutely no complaints”

“Our room was clean, the breakfast area wasn't maintained as far as cleaning the tables for the next person and coffee was out. Breakfast was ok. They tried to charge me for a reservation I didn't make”

“I liked the closeness to restaurants and the Bogue Inlet Pier. This was the main reason for the stay was for fishing. Only negative was the 1 hour delay to get in my room for check-in. The stated time was 3pm and I didn't get in until a little after 4pm.”

“Just got back from a 2 day stay and booked again for July. Staff was great and everything was very clean. Many restaurants to choose from in the area. Would definitely recommend.”

“Beach access was very easy & close. Room was clean besides the floor. Need to do a better job cleaning the floor before & after check in. No housekeeping offered until day 3 upon request.”

“Literally nothing about the place is worth the cheap price. Be ready for roaches galore, loud neighbors and staff that’s more concerned about kicking you out and doubling their money on a room than any kind of “service”. The “pet friendly” motel waited 36 hours to decide to enforce their pet deposit and fees and when we told them the desk never told us about any such charges immediately called the police and had us put out. PAY A FEW EXTRA DOLLARS AND GO ELSEWHERE !!!! Trust me”

“Just got back yesterday from our stay at the Clarion Hotel, the hotel lobby is very beautiful, the marble floors are state-of-the-art, it appears that a lot of thought was put into the design of the lobby.The hotel staff was very friendly. When pulling up to the hotel, it was aesthetically very pleasing. The breakfast was great, it would have been nice to have an alternative meat since we don’t eat pork, but otherwise than that, it was wonderful plenty of choices of things to eat, from cereals,……

“Upon arrival, it took about 10 mins to get to the front to help..she was very friendly though. The outside is kinda run down. When we got into the 2nd floor hallway, it smelled very bad. When we got into the room, I immediately noticed all of the horrible patches in the ceiling and a hole around the sprinkler head in the ceiling. Later upon my stay I noticed there was mold growing in the ceiling of the bathroom in two areas. Beds were comfy but you can also hear your neighbors upstairs if they……
