"The room was great and very comfortable and we loved the location. I was very put off by the lack of service and irritating policies and signs. We were driving to Wilmington and had made plans to visit with friends in Pawleys Island on the way up. The Verandas only has check in from 4 to 5 pm so I sent a message to say we would not arrive until 6:00. No response so I called them. They said I would receive an email from them giving me a link to provide my ID and credit card images. I thanked them...

"This is a great space. The home dates back to 1889, on a street with homes that date back that far or further. The decor is hippie/chic, it’s welcoming, warm, friendly. The location is awesome, historic downtown Wilmington is yours for the taking. I would highly recommend it and I would stay here again if I can."

"Beachfront on Wrightsville Beach. Can't get better than that! Indoor/outdoor pool, lounge chairs on beach deck, music, hammocks, happy, bright atmosphere. Friendly, professional staff. Clean room, comfy bed, great shower. We'll definitely be back"

"It was a wonderful place, however carolina beach definitely over sells what they have to offer. I also felt very offended by the host of property. She texted me and basically accused us of leaving condo in an unsatisfactory condition, in whi h we left a day early because of a family emergency, and i did accident leave a pan in stove and microwave. But not one of us had gummy bears, moved any furniture. But she messaged me saying her house keeper cleaned unit for 7 hours which had to be a lie...

"Enjoyed easy access to beach. No am coffee available and limited restaurant hours - expected a bit more from a “resort” ….Staff friendly and helpful. Added fees ( environmental and parking) seem redundant due to “ resort “ pricing. "

"It was decent and a pretty view. Pool is also nice, however for price even on water they really need to update some things. Overall nice stay but I think it’s time for some renovations."
