“We drove to the neighborhood where the apartment was located and instantly felt that the neighborhood was not safe and decided to leave. We did not even check into nor return to the apartment. I felt we did not get an accurate depiction of the neighborhood from the online description of the location of the apartment.”

“Description and photos set appropriate expectations. Yes, there is an elevated train outside the door. Did it bother us? No, we were expecting it and being close to a stop was an added plus for touring the city. The studio was clean, the host communicated quickly and clearly when the VRBO website didn't so that we had no delay in checking in, the toiletry amenities were unexpected and thoughtful, and the prepared notebook of options for restaurants and places to visit was appreciated. “Overall, the stay was great! You can tell the owners put a lot of effort into remodeling and updating the space. The unit itself was very clean and communication with the host was top notch. It was in close proximity to several really great restaurants! However, there were a few cons. The building itself is pretty old and dirty. It’s not the unit owners fault but it’s something to be aware of. Also, when we visited there was a live band down stairs. We traveled with three kids and didn’t……

Street parking was always available without extra cost. Conveniently located between downtown and UPenn. Would stay again!”
