Who puts a Victorian style kiosk at an interstate freeway rest stop? Well, apparently, the good people of Albany, Oregon. As the sign says, this cute little structure serves to commemorate the more than seven hundred historical homes and buildings in downtown Albany.

I love this little thing, but get a load of the trailer hitch under the front window. I'll have to start looking for those in some of the older districts in the area. I did not realize that they were an architectural feature.

"We lived our stay here. It was super clean and loved having access to the restaurant and bar. We stayed for parents weekend at OSU and it made having breakfast and dinner with our family as we didn’t have to fight the crowds in downtown Corvallis. I would definitely stay here again.
