“This is the first night we stayed in Toscana. The hotel is a real castle located on the top of the hill. The beautiful landscape of agricultural view seen from the hotel was panoramic and breathtaking. The family suite was cozy, containing one living room and two bedrooms. The thermal swimming pool was fantastic and spa center was amazing. Breakfast was flourish. The dinner was also good but overpriced actually. As a whole, I highly recommend staying in Catello di Velona as you visit Toscana.”

“We couldn’t have found more of a gem. This small boutique hotel in the heart of Sarteano was refurbished and done to the highest of standards. The room was so lovely so tastefully decorated and thoughtfully planned. The breakfast was amazing. Chiara and her brother are so welcoming. We travel to Sarteano often and I’m so glad we found this hotel because it will now be our only go to! Don’t miss your chance to stay here! Absolute gem! ”

“This is such a cute fun traditional Tuscan place to stay! Everywhere you look is an amazing view. The dinner was fantastic. The breakfast was delicious. The bed was super comfortable. The room, while rustic and vintage, was very nice. It was so peaceful and quiet! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the drive through Tuscany to get there. Bonus that it’s near Maximus’s house from the gladiator movie sights!”

“The staff was outstanding and the meals were amazing, i.e., fresh, wholesome, and homemade. The chef’s team was very creative with the dinner menu which featured a stellar selection fish, pasta and vegetables grown on the premises. Room was impeccable. Highly recommend a stay at Mastrojanni.”
