Barberino Val d'Elsa Vacation Rentals

Old hotel in an old mountain top town. Given the limitations of this environment the Cisterna is a great little hotel that met all of our needs .The Cisterna is located in Cisterna Square in town close to sights, dining and a valley view walkway. The views to the valley from the rooms is amazing. The rooms are a good size and are modernized and comfortable. The staff is great (friendly and helpful). Many choices for dining close by (in the square) but others will require some minor hills and...

Amazing in every way. The beauty of waking around is unlike any other. When we got there after a long day of traveling we had just missed the lunchtime to eat, and when went to shower the handle broke off- this is not a complaint. First they extended lunch without being asked and fixed the shower within minutes. From there on everything was amazing. Take time to eat the incredible breakfast in the garden, watch the breathtaking sunset in the back it’s incredible. Alessio- does it all he was...

Absolutely beautiful hotel. They have thought of everything- so comfortable, welcoming, and enjoyable!

Hotel staff was very accommodating. The bed was comfortable and the service was great. Very close the train station, about a 5 minute walk. Great local restaurants within walking distance. Also great location for visiting the historical sites.

We only stayed one night at this place but we really enjoyed it. Very cool vibes. Only downside is that getting to the room feels a bit complicated since it's in a different building than the lobby.

Wonderful stay. We have stayed in other hotels on our many trips to Florence but now, the Pendini will always be our choice in Florence.

Just a phenomenal place to stay. Great breakfast options in the morning, friendly and helpful staff and the grounds were amazing to walk around. Perfect if you are looking to visit the neighboring villages in Tuscany

A fan of this hotel since my first visit in 2000. Only steps from the train station and walking distance to Everything! Rooftop sitting areas are enchanting with the best views! Highly recommend.

Great hotel

Very accessible to everything

Staff incredibly helpful and accommodating. Gave excellent restaurant recommendations. Free breakfast offered a delicious array of dishes

Horrible! Do not go there! Because if you stay there once, your standards will rise and you will have hard time comparing other hotels to this one which exceeded all standards. Do not get fooled by its 3-star status, as the rooms, deco and services would definitely compete with at least a 4-star counterpart. Located at the center of Florence with walking distance to the main train station and lots of venues and museums, the hotel is a true gem. The breakfast buffet is in an elegant setting and...

I had a great experience here that far exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect, just a short walk from major tourist attractions. The morning breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety to start the day. One standout feature was the complimentary snacks and drinks in the minibar—such a thoughtful touch that truly enhanced the experience.

The place is very clean and quiet. It is in an exclusive neighborhood. Very safe to walk around. Their staff are very friendly and very service oriented. Breakfast was faboulous. The only thing is, it is a little further away from the city. Need a taxi to go anywhere but the taxi is also readily available and staff will call them for us. Wait time is very short usually less than 10 minutes.

On Sunday 28 Sept, 2014, I arrived with my family at the Rosso Hotel, Firenze. When the Hotel Rep (Phillipo) asked for my hotel reservation and Passport, I realized that all my money and Passport was stolen from my purse. It happened apparently before I left Venice, at the St. Lucia train station when I departed to Firenze. I felt so miserable, but the hotel Rep was so understanding and polite. He accepted the only ID I had. He apologized on behalf of his country, and provided me directions...

The view is amazing! When you open the window we had a direct view of the duomo and the plaza. Very very beautiful. The location is amazing. The staff is friendly. Although the square is noisy, it quieted down usually around 11:30pm or 12 so sleeping wasn’t too difficult.

This hotel was great. The breakfast was awesome. The location was perfect for walking the city as well as having great access to the train station. I also noticed a lot of the walking tours began in the area so it was convenient. Food choices everywhere and many many convenient stores nearby. The staff was great!

The staff is very friendly, the room we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and the windows were thick enough to keep the noise out from the street. Their breakfast was the best I've ever had from a hotel, it felt like they had everything you could ever ask for. The day we checked out we were still planning on staying in Florence until the evening and they kept our bags at the hotel free of charge for the day which was very convenient. It was walking distance from everything we wanted to see as...

Like the location and friendly service!
