“Pods were great and practical if tiny. The biggest challenge was the complete lack of storage space in the pod. Other pods we stayed at kept the space under the beds open for easy storage. These were completely closed, so the only space was the 1-2 feet between the beds. We had to climb over our backpacks to get to the door to go in or out.”

“Quirky traditional Scottish hotel with the fun of a 5 minute Ferry ride to reach it. Really friendly staff. Rooms a little dated and tired but very clean. Bar and food were good and views down the Loch fantastic. Highly recommend”

“This is a nice old hotel. They even upgraded our room for no reason. It is an old building, that’s part of the charm, but very well maintained and up to date furnishings. There’s a cozy restaurant down stairs and the grilled fish was very tasty.”

“Lovely conveniently placed hotel close to Loch Lomond, with plenty of parking. Staff were friendly and welcoming, Plenty of choice on the menu for evening dining. Self service breakfast again with plenty of choice and all freshly cooked. The hotel has places to relax just off the reception area, lots of comfee seats Pleasant walk across the road along the bank of the Loch although this is probably busy during the summer season”

“We enjoyed use of kitchen /dining space, which included tea, coffee, and proper dishes and utensils. We could store extra food in the refrigerator. The warming closet to hang up wet clothes was amazing. Bed was very comfortable. View of lake was lovely. Host was attentive. Great stepping off point for hiking.”

“Invercreran Lodge was a perfect overnight experience in the countryside of the highlands! Rural setting away from the crowds and busy roads. Easy drive to Glencoe or Oban. Staff is amazing and facilities are top rate. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, five star getaway with stunning views and superb hosts! ”

“Great convenient place to stay with wonderful view. Converted Victorian mansion with an extraordinary whisky collection. The staff were v friendly accommodating and hospitality focused. The homemade food was excellent. Everything was great.”

“Lovely views of Loch Awe. The driver wasn’t so happy about the long single track road but the other two enjoyed the solitude and quiet at the end of the road. Rooms are comfortable and all different.”
