We had an unfortunate incident beyond anyone’s control and needed to vacate sooner than expected; however, the owners were so amazing and accommodated our needs. "We almost don’t want to leave this review because we’d really prefer everyone else NOT discover this place so it’s available the next time we want to go. But… here we are, doing the right thing.Three friends, dogs, water views, acres and acres of soybean fields, and basically no people. It was glorious."Peaceful, comfortable, beautiful nature getaway. The kitchen was surprisingly well stocked, and the owners even left homemade s’mores kits for us, which was such a cute touch and immediately made us feel like someone had planned our grown-up camping trip better than we had.One thing worth knowing: this probably isn’t the place for everyone. It’s truly off the grid, powered by solar with a backup generator, and it is SECLUDED. If your idea of vacation is water, fields, dogs, quiet, stars, s’mores, and not seeing another human unless you invited them… book it.Actually, don’t. "We took 2 rooms during a road trip, arriving close to midnight with our extended family of 6. We only stayed one night, mainly to rest, and overall it served that purpose very well. On the positive side, the place was clean, The beds were comfortable, and it was a very good value for money. We were able to get a good night’s rest after a long drive. The only downside was the noisy air conditioning, which made it a bit less comfortable during the night. Overall, it was a good short stay and met our basic needs for a stopover (at that budget price!)"

"This cabin was impressive. We had the best time here. So quiet and peaceful. Immaculately clean. Our check in was seamless. It is central to pretty much any attractions and beaches you’d like to visit. I am sure we will be back. This was perfect for our anniversary trip!"

"The place was so outstanding that this was our second stay. We wanted to return for several reasons. The host was wonderful, very accessible and friendly. The home has a unique and open design that is designated to enjoy the view. We noticed that the deck railing and part of the dock was a little weather-worn the first time but was newly replaced this visit! Happily, the deck railing was lowered so we could see more of the view when sitting outside. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed as well as in the bathrooms, plus all the comforts & extras provided around the home such as games and books. We utilized the kayaks and equipment to paddle to the ocean for two amazing private beach days! We tried to be hyper-careful about the marsh tide schedule but it fluctuated extremely so be careful. (We got a bit stuck in the marsh mud one day and had to paddle back in near dark another evening - opps. But fun adventures and all worked out!) If you're looking for privacy, extreme relaxation and some kayaking, this is the place. I suppose other visitors ventured out to restaurants but we stayed put and enjoyed every minute of solitude. A well-needed reset for us."
