Southsider Motel

8/10 Good

"The motel probably doesn't deserve a five star rating, but it was totally adequate for a one night stay. It is located right on US 101, so easy on and off. It has a large fridge (for a motel), and a large shower. No continental breakfast, but right across the street from Taco Bell, other restaurants nearby. It had a single bed in the room, so convenient if traveling with a child. If traveling through Coos Bay again I would definitely stay there. The cost was low for a Labor Day weekend."

Quality Inn & Suites at Coos Bay

"The room was very clean! The beds were firm and comfortable, and the water pressure was fantastic. Even better than at home. The pool, spa, and, gym were extremely clean, though the gym had limited options for a full workout. The staff were polite, kind, and courteous. The breakfast provided was your standard Continental fare, and was very good for free food. Would stay again!"

"The room was clean, dated, but cozy. Easy parking, and bed was comfy. Limited seating for breakfast, so get there early or be prepared to grab and go. Loved the location. Easy 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Laundry is available for each “block” of rooms. Would stay here again."

"The staff were friendly and helpful. I recommend earplugs if you’re a light sleeper, you can hear everything in the room next to you, the fan works well. Well lit parking lot with lots of space."
