“We had such a wonderful stay at the Algonquin Resort in St. Andrews! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The resort was spotless, the grounds were absolutely magical, and the food was amazing. I treated myself to a service at the Aveda Spa, and it was such a relaxing, lovely experience. There was so much to do for the whole family—we enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pools, the Kids Zone, evening s'mores by the fire, complimentary bike rides,……

“Le meilleur de cet hôtel est l'emplacement idéal centre-ville,,,face au front de mer, des bateaux pour excursions d'observation de baleines, près du lighthouse, sur la rue Water avec boutiques, magasins et épicerie...et stationnement gratuit Par contre, le lit de notre chambre n'était pas très confortable et les oreillers très grosses...”

“Very old hotel. Smelled musty, damp carpets, hard beds. The light in our bathroom only worked after flipping on and off many times and ac was noisy all night”

“The view and area is absolutely gorgeous. It’s nice that you have a balcony right onto the water. Place need some TLC, it is very much older style, which is fine because it’s very clean. Wasn’t very excited that our room had a kitchen sink in the bathroom, along with the bathroom sink. Needless to say, I was not using that kitchenette. But as far as I know, the other rooms were not like that. Great place to say stay”

“Nice location for a one night stop. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Bathroom door did not close completely but ok when travelling with a partner. Screens ripped so did get bugs in overnight. Was fine for an overnight but would like Y not stop there again.”

“The staff is extremely helpful, pleasant and polite. The inn and its grounds are immaculately maintained. The breakfast served at the time of your choosing was delicious and what a treat to savor it on the private patio with the birds singing and the lovely manicured grounds to enjoy. The inn is next door to the Kingsbrae Gardens and there is a gate to enter just to the right of the front door. I enjoyed the well appointed room, the whirlpool tub and the beautiful library and living room areas.……

“Lovely inn in walking distance of the Main Street of the town, with restaurants, shops and the water. The inn was purchased in 2020 and is being lovingly and tastefully renovated by the owners, a couple with three young children. Super comfortable bed and linens!”
