“We have fond memories of Clear Lake Iowa. This lodging is an 18 unit hotel. The units look over the lake. there was plenty of privacy. “The hotel was dirty. The rooms were cleaned at a sub par level. There was hair on the bathroom floor, the carpets needed vacuuming both inside the rooms and in the hallways. Doors around the property were propped open. Front desk person was always outside. The pool bathroom door did not lock and was not cleaned. There was poop in the toilet that appeared to have sat overnight. The lobby smells like smoke. The room key cards constantly quit working. The tv had to be reset by the front desk person……

“Wonderful country get-away! Rooms were clean and quaint. The farm was so fun to explore with lots of recycled metal sculptures throughout. Cute and friendly farm cats were a wonderful surprise! The hot breakfast (egg bake, warm Bundt coffee cake and fresh cut Georgia peaches) was the best breakfast I’ve had in a LONG time.
