"I really enjoyed my stay and I love the resorts charm. The spa is excellent and Ken is a wonderful massage therapist-I request him every stay. It would be nice to see some TLC put into the exterior of the building so the outside matches the inside - new paint, fix the shingles and spruce up a bit plus new carpet in the main areas would add a lot to the property. Thank you! "

"nice bed, clean room. no breakfast. Only complaint is they called me the middle of the day--2pm-- before our stay and asked when we were going to check in. Considering we were at a tournament an hour away, that was impossible to answer, and seemed like they should not have called us to ask. We checked in by 8pm. Unusual since we had paid for the room, and there was no refunds. "

"Hotel is very beautiful and unique. Vallet parking was great. Restaurant waiter was inappropriate at times, front desk people were not very friendly and welcoming. Over all it’s worth to stay here for the history of its building and pool/spa was wonderful."
