Very peaceful. Loved waking up with the lake view. I wish the WiFi had a strong connection, but either than that the stay was peaceful and worth it!

My only complaint is the property is a little rural and set back from the main areas of Cooperstown. The result is horrible cell service but the WiFi is great so just connect your phone to that!

Okay if you want to spend less

I stayed here because it was half the price of everything in Cooperstown. You get what you pay for. The room is small. The two full size beds take up most of the room. There was about a foot of clearance between one bed and the entrance to the bathroom. The shower is small enough that it would be at home in an RV. There were several flies buzzing around the room when I arrived. Would just suck it up and pay more for a better room if I go back.

I liked) 1) the proximity to Glimmerglass Opera Festival. 2) Friendly staff. 3) Not noisy. Several negative things were: 1) Very strong disinfectant/cleaning liquid odor for the first two days of our 4-day stay. 2) Description of amenities is inaccurate: no paddle wheel boats (which were advertised on signage). 3) Breakfast, as is advertised, is really a toaster and microwave in the motor inn office. No Bread, butter, condiments, or place to sit. 4) Shower stall was about 30" x 30", which is dangerously small space to pick up a dropped bar of soap. 5) We were not allowed TO eat at the picnic table by the water. 6) Room was not cleaned when door hanger service-card was hung.

We stayed at the Lake N Pines Motel. I couldn't say enough about the scenery! It's absolutely beautiful! The set up of the property is unique in a good way. The motel has separate sections which affords for some nice privacy. We had a second floor room with a private balcony overlooking the water. My favorite part was the gorgeous sunrise! The staff and people there are so friendly! I think I've found my favorite spot. A very nice place to relax.

Peaceful and cute

Super cute and peaceful location! I have never stayed in a motor Lodge before, and the convenience of having your car directly outside the room is insanely nice. I can see why it was such a popular design. The room was a bit dated, but very well kept, and the mattress older but not uncomfortable. The lodge has a small private beach a short walk down the hill, and you can borrow their kayaks for free!

Staff was friendly. Property was well maintained. The only issue was the size of the shower. It’s just as small as the reviews say. It was hard for my husband to fit in the shower and he’s only 5’11.

The stay was ok. They shower could use a new shower head for water pressure adjustments. Couldn’t enjoy shower because water go everywhere. The carpet could use some cleaning . Curtains missing at door windows. Bright light in room while sleeping. The lake is just a distance view

The staff was polite. However, the room smelled of old age and mildew and had a continous damp feeling. Also, the showrr was so small that it was impossible to feel entirely clean. No refunds unless canceled 10 days prior, so with no other availability in the area (Cooperstown tournament time), we were stuck. Would not recommend.

Clean and quaint motor inn.

We only stayed overnight and departed before the chickens arose the next day, but the property was clean and pleasant. The lakeside view was beautiful.
