“This condo was so cute, modern, very clean, just wonderful. It is in a private location but didn’t feel too secluded for female travelers. I felt safe, parking was easy, handicapped accessible ground floor. Met the owner, very nice man, he clearly takes lots of pride in his home and offering a great stay to his guests. There were a few snacks and drinks provided which was nice. Perfect location to visit Monteverde. Price was reasonable. I had NO bug issues here, which if you stay in Monteverde……

“Excellent location. Other reviews are accurate. However, There are two locations for this hotel. one is near the main road - that is where the pool is and it is a small pool so we didn't end up using it. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the beach area which was as advertised. Excellent breakfast included. Staff were great. It is a small town so easy access to everything.”

“No towel service, people could not enter the pool because hand rails to low, tv service was terrible, asked cleaning lady for towels she never brought them, nobody ever came around to see if everything is okay, so we left after two nights and had to book a hotel elsewhere, is it possible to get a refund for the three nights we didn’t stay”

“It is only a block away from the beach , some local options for food in walking distance, the pool is open 24/7 unless they are cleaning it. Board games on site, beds comfy and clean, all amenities you need. parking in front. Not a lot to do in Brasilito but great location to get to everything. The owners of the condo are really great to deal with and remember to take a photo of the emergency numbers on the kitchen counter just in case. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Elephant Castle. Great location, clean property, loved being across from the beach. Saw monkeys on the patio. Pablo and Luis on the beach were wonderful, as were the folks at Baldi's. Highly recommend staying here.”

“Great location within walking distance to most shops and restaurants. Secure gated parking. Daily house keeping was a treat for a condo style stay. Our host, Cesar, went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and booked several excursions for us (and we loved his suggestions). A modern and well kept accommodation. We would definitely stay here again when visiting La Fortuna.”

“Great Condo in a small quiet beach town. The views were spectacular and we enjoyed the roof top patio for sunsets and morning coffee. This condo is high up on the hill so we mostly drove to town to avoid the hike back up but driving around was simple and parking was easy in town. Kitchen was well stocked and AC worked great. Would definitely stay here again!”
