“Seriously the worst place I’ve ever stayed. I’m not usually someone who leaves negative reviews, but people need to know what we experienced. We booked two rooms for one night—one for my wife and me, and another for a friend. When we checked in, the first room had urine in the toilet and clearly had not been cleaned. The second room had a strong smell of marijuana. We decided to keep the room that smelled like weed because we didn’t want to be a nuisance and already had to switch one……

“You get what you pay for. This motel seems like it’s really for workmen who are just going through the town. Room was a little rough”

“The room was cooled as I came, that's good. The light in the room was good. The linens were just fake-made by the room cleaner. That's a no-go. But the woman at the counter was helpful, gave me fresh linen and I have put them on the bed by myself. In such a case, if there is support and a solution by the desk-manager, that's not so bad as it sounds. Some quality control needed here.”

“My hosts were very cordial and kind. The bunkhouse was enjoyable for a relaxing break with a wood burning stove and a dark sky to view the stars. Their ranch dogs were well trained to engage with me when I wanted to spend time with them. ”

“Nice beds and TVs in all 5 rooms. Large kitchen and great outdoor seating spaces. Cozy and family friendly. Nice location close to Johnson Lake State Park for fishing. A little bit of a walk to the beach to swim.”
