We had to go to three different rooms…#1 had metal bars sticking 4 inches out from the bed frame. #2 was supposed to have 2 queen beds (original reservation was for a king) but turned out to have 1 double bed and a queen mattress on top of a double frame. #3 had a king bed but carpet had been recently shampooed and was still wet and the room smelled strongly of cleaning solution. They moved us back to #1 and I did end up scraping my leg on the metal bar when I got out of bed in the middle of the night.

After we arrived in the hotel to check in around 10 pm, we were asked to cancel the reservation suddenly and arbitrarily due to bed bug problems, which they should have reported online or beforehand. If they were having bed bug problems, they should not have made the rooms available for booking. It was a big hassle after 9 hours of a drive. There were so many other people, who were returned and faced the same kind of hassle. Extremely poor management!
