“The house and the surrounding park are exactly how you imagine a country residence. Quite spectacular. The interior of the main house is gorgeous and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious. “Everything about Tankardstown is top notch, from the bubbly welcome you receive to every interaction with the most accommodating staff. “We absolutely loved the cottages! We ordered a dinner on the night of our arrival and it was delicious. Our communication with Paula was superb. She answered all our questions. The resident cat was so adorable and my sister loved her visits!! We loved the fireplace as our 83 dad was always cold! The shower was hard to maintain the temp, however we would recommend your beautiful cottages to everyone and would stay again!!”

Spacious room with no lift access
"The check-in staff did not proactively mentioned that the access to our room was different from other rooms, until we could not use the lift after we tapped our access card. Afterwards, we were susprised to learn that there was no lift access to our room. The room would be more comfortable if there are more than 1 chair available, considering there are ample amount of space. It was also quite noisy facing the main street while windows needed to keep open for ventilation with no air con available. "
