"I absolutely loved this hotel and would stay there again and again. Its location is absolutely key, right next to the Dam Square, which felt like the “hub” of Amsterdam. It was walkable to canals, Royal Palace, Chinatown, and many other sites. When we arrived at the train station (huge,) it is only 12-15 minutes walk with luggage. Many restaurants were in the area, and the best souvenir shop was across the street. We found the Spar grocery store in a 5 minutes walk and stored our breakfast sandwiches in the refrigerator in the room to save $. Staff was super helpful for us to find our way. The room was quiet, comfortable, and spacious. I don’t think anyone would regret staying here! "

"Really pleased with the conditions of the hotel, would put it on par with a Premier Inn in the UK. Small rooms but only used to sleep in so no problem at all. Very convenient location, close to central station and walkable to most of the center. Staff also let us drop off bags before check in.

I would normally give 5 stars for service except for the fact that the some of the staff at breakfast from Tuesday till our departure on Friday seemed unhappy and at times.
