So glad we stayed at the InterContinental Resort Tahiti, as we met up with some other couples (also on the cruise we had been on with) staying elsewhere, not as happy as we were.

Wonderful check in staff and porters….our flight was 2&1/2 hours delayed leaving the west coast that added to the 9+hr flight time…the staff was accommodating and helpful….TY!!

Hotel was clean and quiet. Air con took a while to cool room as it’s a slow fan. But once we got it down it was fine. Staff was lovely. Didn’t try breakfast due to early flight. This is a great airport stay-over. It’s minimalistic but clean and has AC. Heads up for the two flights of stairs if you have heavy luggage and this place also can be a bit loud due to the motorcyclists zooming by outside. It reminded me of Mexico. Trash and junk everywhere. Everything was run down and dirty. Not the "paradise" you think of. Only some of the resorts on Tahiti are nice and clean and kept up.
