“great location, breakfast, pool, friendly staff. but room housekeeping needs help: bottles were empty-no hand soap, no body wash, dead large ant on windowsill - tried calling front desk and phone was always busy. Dog friendly - but saw 2 large dogs loudly barking at each other in the lobby and a small unleashed dog sitting at the table eating during breakfast - there needs to be rules for dogs. Not all people like dogs, some are allergic and some dont want hair on their seats.”

“Spent a couple of nights over the 4th. Location is great however the property needs some work. Bed and AC in unit 11 need to be replaced. Room was clean, no frills but clean. Simple check in and out, parking behind hotel was a plus also. Place was built in 1953 and will not be mistaken for a 5 star resort but overall pleased and would book again.”

“The rooms were clean upon arrival, staff was nice, beach location was exceptional and very private, sunrise and watching the moonrise was beautiful, the only complaint would be the rooms wasn't cleaned everyday and towels wasn't restocked in the room but the view made up for it.”

“Upon walking in you will find random, old light fixtures that don't work, curtain rods falling in half so you can't shut the curtains, nasty toilet seats, holes in the walls, no comforters (only a sheet), a shower that none of my family would step foot in. Now, the property....the pool had a hazard sign on the gate from the city that it is not safe to swim in. Staff was not friendly at check-in. We tried to stay elsewhere, but nothing was available. We will NEVER be back. And it wasn't even……

“Room was very nice. Pool and hot tub were just as described. I didn't expect construction and didn't like being woken up at 8am to banging while on vacation!”

“The property was beautiful. It sits close to the road so we heard traffic a lot. Our bathroom was quirky. We had a room with a spa tub but the shower part was difficult to use. The faucet in the sink was difficult to work around...either splashed the floor or got my hair wet when I rinsed after brushing my teeth. The sunsets were incredible”

“Genuinely the only knock against this place is if you want to swim in the pool at night. They close the pool at sunset. Other than that, our stay was practically flawless. The people were nice and kind. I was upset that the laundry lady was working in a room with no air conditioning, so please tip her if You exchange towels. But I would absolutely stay here again immediately. Its right on the beach, and super close to tons of activities. New ownership is supposedly coming in soon, and I hope……
