“We were at the Cedar River retreat in mid-April for 4 days. Another couple joined us overnight one night. The secluded location was beautiful and quiet with abundant wildlife. We saw wild turkeys, American bald eagles, lots of songbirds, deer, wood ducks, turtles and a muskrat! The deck is a lovely place to hang out and enjoy the view and the quiet. Unfortunately, a fire ban due to drought was in place so we couldn't take advantage of the fire pit. There is a grill also (we didn't use it). The……
