"The bathroom and the carpet were so filthy that I had to call room-service to take care of it: yellow spots on the floor around the toilet, toothbrush splashes on the wall, hairs on the walls/my bed/the floor, multiple dark drink spots on the carpeted floor. The HVAC did not work either. I called room-repair again, to request a warmer temp.,the gentleman told me to wait 20 minutes, but after 1 hr it had cooled the room 2 degrees Celsius, instead of heating it.The staff was very friendly otherwise, but could not take care of the filth and heat. I did not receive a different room either. The room was quiet, and the restaurant and food were great, though. "

"The best part about the hotel is the convenience of the location (and the great view). As a solo traveler, the size of the room was fine, and I didn’t mind that only a curtain separated the shower from the rest of the room. However, what I did mind was the size of the pillows - half the width of a regular pillow and so soft they essentially collapsed as soon as your head touched hit them. The water pressure is also awful - the tap in my bathroom produced only boiling water and the temperature for the shower was either scalding or freezing. The worst part about the hotel is the fact that guests can do seemingly whatever they like, with no repercussions. I stayed here for 3 nights and every night was kept awake for hours on end by doors slamming, people shouting in the corridors, and rave-like music being blasted from my neighbours above. I don’t think I slept more than 4 hours. Only on one occasion did security come to tell people to be quiet (and that was at 6am - far too late to make a difference). "The room was one of the nicest I have ever stayed in. Little things, like motion-sensing night lights next to the bed that turn off after you get back into bed, the exposed plumbing under the sink that looks like art vs. function, and a single switch next to the bed that turns out all the lights. Really well-appointed room. I wish I could have stayed longer. "

"The hotel is always great. The location is perfect and the beds are comfortable. I love the shower, the small mini bar and the amenities. I think this is my favorite little hotel. However, this trip was irritating. I stopped by at 11am to drop my bags. I had a show at 1pm. A security personal stopped me saying the hotel had been reserved and I could not enter. Even to just drop my bag. I asked him if there was somewhere nearby I could leave my items and he said ‘I don’t know’ very rudely. Nowhere in my booking information did it say the hotel was not accessible until 2\. I did an online check in, it asked what time I was arriving, I selected 11am and there was nothing mentioned. I luckily had stayed at another hotel in the area the nights before so I took my bags all the back to my former hotel. I would have actually left them there to begin with, had I known. They could have at least offered to tag my bag and take in on to the luggage room when I came by. Or apologized that I could not enter. I was met with hostility. Now, the person that checked me in was kind, the room was still fine. But the way I was treated was not fair. I usually get in before noon, and now I wonder if there will be more instances like this. Due to this, I will probably go to the hotel next door instead. "

"I stayed for two weeks and overall had a very positive experience. The staff is extremely friendly, check in and check out were smooth, and the pricing is reasonable. The location is convenient, close to bus lines, with taxis always available and Uber typically just two to three minutes away. The buffet breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of meats, vegetables, fruits, cereals, and juices. There is also a convenient self service store on site where you can buy snacks, beverages, and essentials such as phone chargers. It is simple and efficient, just scan, pay, and go. The only downside was the WiFi. Be aware that your room location will directly affect your connectivity. During my 13 day stay, I was only able to connect to the hotel WiFi from my room about 2 percent of the time. The remaining 98 percent of the time I had to rely on my phone’s cellular data. In contrast, the connection in the lobby was stable and fast. I mentioned it to the staff and hope management improves coverage with proper signal extenders. If you rely on internet for work, having a backup option such as an eSIM is strongly recommended, as it was essential for me during my stay."
