"The building needs major repairs! The hallways on the first and second floors were hot. Housekeeping and others fanned themselves as they walked through. We were told the HVAC unit was “in need of repairs.” They remained the same temperature all five days. The elevators were down one day. People checking in had to carry luggage upstairs. The property is not properly secured as someone was able to pull the fire alarm at 5am and at 6am the same morning. Everyone rushed downstairs in case of a fire to be told that it was a false alarm. Unfortunately, no communication was sent out to tell guests that it was a false alarm. The ONLY two reasons I this property does not have a one star rating for the amount paid compared to the experience we received is that the room was clean and the front desk/ housekeeping staff were kind and professional."

"Nice resort off beaten path. There was a very loud Hispanic family that was screaming and yelling every night. I had to complain to the front desk who told me they’re paying to stay here too. I won’t return as the resort should have addressed the situation before I had to complain and I didn’t like that they told me they’re paying to stay too."

"Unfortunately the property was not what we expected. I booked this hotel for beach front, ocean access to swim and water sports but when we arrived the entire property was overrun with dead seaweed. The whole property stunk like rotten eggs and swimming and kayaking was not possible. Now, I know it’s not the property owners fault but they failed to notify me when I spoke with them that it was a big problem. The smell stunk the room also. We spent all 3 days off the property because the smell was unbearable. Very disappointed about the the whole stay!!"
