“Clean room and staff excellent ”

“Simply perfect for a memorable stay in the heart of Dartmoor. We hadn't planned to stay until a few days before hand, but having seen the fantastic weather forecast decided to book (initially) a 1-night stopover on our way from Shropshire to Looe in Cornwall. When we started to research Ramblers Rest, we simply had to make it a 2-night mini-break, as it sounded so good. We were not disappointed. “My room was in the main building on the first floor, it was really clean and with a good offering of complimentary water and hot drinks.”

“Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x”
