“Except we were email/ call 3 times with 24 hours before check-in (I couldn’t help but guessed it was due to they had nobody working after 9pm), everything was beating expectation. Room was decent. Service was excellent - TV remote was available (for our device to connect to hdmi) the minute we asked ; room was cleaned, bed were made, towel replaced, bathroom was cleaned, garbage was cleared daily - which was not the case in most of the motel. We were so excited to bbq in motel public area……

“Such a beautiful home base for us as we toured Joshua Tree National Park each day. It was our little oasis. I was traveling with a childhood friend, so we chose the Sonoran Traveler for the two bedrooms. Beds were so comfortable. Beautiful light coming in all day long. A lovely courtyard for sitting and reading and having coffee. Nice to have evening air coming in-- windows on three sides of the unit (including the small bathroom window). We didn't use the AC since temps were not too hot and……

“Had everything we needed, including coffee. Everything worked, easy door access. This is minor but they might want to change the bathroom faucet. Neat, clean, quiet and walkable neighborhood. Close to Joshua Tree visitor center. We wished the hot tub was a little farther from the roof so we would have a 360° sky view, but otherwise it was really perfect.”
