“We enjoyed a family/friends getaway for a couple of days after Easter and the cabin was perfect! The property is very family-friendly and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. We loved the deck and fire table and the yard/fire pit/patio was a wonderful area to hangout together. The check-in/check-out rules were easy to follow and the extra parking down near Kohls Ranch Lodge was a convenient place for a couple extra cars to park. “We stayed at the Hidden Trails Retreat for 3 nights. My husband, myself and our 3 boys (13 and twin 12s) found the home very inviting on arrival! We arrived to a very clean home, with a large basket of snacks! 😋 It was a welcome site after a long drive from Colorado. “There were elk, bulls, cows, woodpeckers, lizards.. there is a creek within walking distance and a few more creeks with in a few miles. The cabin it self is extraordinary, me and my family always love coming here. They did a lot of upgrading on the place and it’s even more amazing. I recommend this cabin to everyone looking for a vacation spot. The owners are so nice and always easy to get ahold of. We will be back..”

“We had our son and daughter, their spouses and kids. I really liked how the layout of the house allowed each family to have their own private section while the living rooms and kitchen allowed for great interaction. We never felt crowded. The ping pong was a hit though we did have to buy paddles due to the poor condition of those on the property. We also purchased repair kits for the pool cues that were broken so we could all play. “A Relaxing Time In The Forest. Laze on the wraparound deck. Enjoy the wind in the pines. Walk to the Verde River for a picnic or meditation. Or a dip. Learn to love the incessantly cockadoodling rooster across the road by buying fresh eggs laid by his brood. ”

“We love the treehouse. A creative use of space such that a person has everything one could possibly need. A wonderful bbq (top of the line) on the deck adds to the amenities. We love the downstairs outside area. It's super comfortable. Good comfortable bed. Fans, heat and A/C which we didn't need in early June, but is there if needed. Great hosts. We enjoy staying every year.”

“A beautiful little gem outside of Payson. We were looking for remote place to let our dog run loose and this for the bill! Only complaint is the back fence is not secure so our pup did get out once. The house it's self is extremely cozy. It's the yard and porch that make this place special because they are beautiful! “Very dusty and stains on blankets, needs better cleaning. Toilet seat is cracked and pinches you. Neighbor threatened us and was watching what we were doing. Room a/c unit exhaust broken blowing hot air into the room. Otherwise the property and area is beautiful. Creek nearby. Nice man-made creek on the property. Great location. The ping pong was fun, lots of activities for kids.”
