![My host family took me to Lake Takerkoust (its dam powers all of Amizmiz and Marrakech) for a hike. Up here, you can see the entire floodplain and the river tributary that flows into the main lake. Far away on the other side, you can see a motorbike riding across the dirt road as if a speck of dust was slowly floating across space. ![My host family took me to Lake Takerkoust (its dam powers all of Amizmiz and Marrakech) for a hike. Up here, you can see the entire floodplain and the river tributary that flows into the main lake. Far away on the other side, you can see a motorbike riding across the dirt road as if a speck of dust was slowly floating across space. "Close to the Jamaa el Fna square- a short walk from the square leads to the hotel. The reception is on the right immediately on entering the premises through a nice wooden door. The receptionist welcomed me in on opening the door. From the reception the hotel opens to 3 indoor courtyards accessed on different levels by a staircase. The rooms are on the edge of each courtyard. My room was spotless, 2 single beds, a small seating area, built in wardrobe space and nice washroom and toilet, lastly a decent sized shower room- lots of hot water "
