"Our keys got deactivted every day so we kept having to go back down to get new keys, all the light switches were filthy, the shower floor was not very clean, the shower was only lukewarm water, the hallway smelled, and the hot tub was out of order."

"Everyone should check out this place! It's very cool and a little creepy, definitely a fun time! We loved exploring the place and the bartender at the winery was fantastic. Check-in and check-out were a breeze but do note that if you're getting there later than the winery closes then you'll need to make plans. The only thing that marred out visit was the employee driving the Telsa. Not sure I've ever encountered such an incredibly condescending angry man in my life. Had it not been for the early check-out policy we would have left 5 minutes after encountering him. Luckily we didn't see more of him later in our stay; too bad someone like that feels the need to accost guests in that manner."

"Pro: Nani at front desk was helpful and apologetic. Seemed like he has to deal with a lot so I felt bad for him. If I’m the hotel, I’d make sure he’s paid well to keep him on staff. Con: We left two hours after checking in due to bed bugs on two different beds in the room. I took the pillow to front desk with one on it and my wife had to show Nani video of the others. We had seen some black spotting on the sheets when we got there and looked around the mattress but nothing stood out. Once the lights went off, they came out. Of no fault of the hotel, KC was sold out for the weekend (we even had Expedia search for us as we called hotels individually hoping someone cancelled) so we ended up driving 3 hrs home and lost out on $240 in event tickets we had for the next day. So I had four crying kids due to having to go home and a crying wife due to knowing there were a bunch of sports families we’d seen staying there that may be subject to same issue."

"The staff was friendly and the price was budget-conscious. However, there were lots of issues with overall cleanliness. The first room we were given hadn’t been cleaned at all (bed unmade, trash in the bins, towels used), and the second room clean in a rushed sense. The room needed a good vacuum, the ice bucket and keurig were dusty, the larger amenities were old/damaged… ironing board had huge stain, the curtain on the chain window treatment would get stuck, it was scratched. The towels were clean and soft though! I think the whole place is okay, but if it got a really good deep clean it would be great."

"As an economy hotel, it was very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. And I loved having two sinks in the bathroom and vanity area. It made our trip much more easier to accommodate our needs. To be aware that when you exit off of I 35 go to the east. Google wants to send you to the west. The easiest way to find it is Google the closest Subway restaurant. It is right behind that restaurant."
