"Parking was easy and free in their lot beside the hotel. Checking in was a breeze, and we were granted early access to our room, since it had already been cleaned. The staff was courteous and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the ice water (with lemon or orange slices in it) and coffee available in the lobby all day for free. Getting a river view room was worth the extra price for us. Everything was clean, and the property looked good and up to date. We loved the shower, the shampoo & conditioner, and the terrycloth robes. Best of all is the location on the waterfront in old town Georgetown. We will be back."

"This hotel is just lovely! The suite we had was extremely clean. The furnishings and artwork were most intriguing. The location was ideal for walking downtown. The breakfast was excellent and included in the stay. We ate at hotel restaurant both evenings. The food was very good, as was the service."

"I’ll start by saying that Dora at the front desk was wonderful! Very helpful and very friendly. There were serious plumbing problems that were going on Saturday morning but even though Dora was working alone that morning she took great care of us and got us moved to a new room. The part of our stay that was very disappointing was the “continental breakfast”. I know continental breakfasts are not fancy spreads, but some fruit, instant oatmeal and yogurt cups would have been wonderful. Coffee, juice and cheez-its is not a continental breakfast by anyone’s definition."
