“I cannot say that I would recommend this hotel, and there is a large disparity in quality of accommodation and service between Hotel Metropole in Venezia and Taormina. I would recommend considering any other option first. Key takeaways: We had a king suite in July, so during peak season. The room was not ready for our check in and we had to wait for it. Room cleaning was clearly an issue for the property as the room was not refreshed until 5pm. The light switches in our room did not always……

“Overall a nice stay. The property itself is very dated and needs a renovation/upgrade. But the service at breakfast, and the views from the upgraded rooms are great. Standard rooms are not great. Reception staff average. Gym needs more weights/equipment (but decent room). Some small improvements (aside from a total refresh/renovation) would make a huge difference.”

“Everything is the hotel was very clean and well-maintained. The pool was very nice - the beach was beautiful. Overall, was an excellent choice. The staff was very accommodating. the restaurant was very good. The only concern is that our room was not very cool - air conditioning was not strong enough. Also, the rooms could use a dresser for clothing. I would stay there again.”

“Hotel Villa Sirina is een klein hotel met ontzettend aardig personeel. Het ontbijt wordt elke ochtend verzorgd door hele lieve medewerkers, die soms zelfs wat italiaans zingen in de keuken. Dit was heel mooi om te horen. Er hing een hele goede sfeer. Alle medewerkers waren heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook was de accomodatie erg schoon en het zwembad was erg rustig.
