"We loved our stay at Kehena house! We were greeted by Stephen when we arrived and given a quick tour. They were hosting a Pride potluck that day and he kindly invited us to come eat and join in as guests of the house. Everyone we met was friendly and we felt safe to be ourselves. In the room, there was a list of unique weekly activities and opportunities near by, which made the experience feel even more welcoming.

"Kelly was great! Great host would wakup early in the morning with homemade breakfast😋 she prepared herself and freshly baked muffins ,never did she serve the same breakfast always changing up her menu😋but always freshly baked goods for sure🥰Thanks Kelly we will for sure be back ❤️"

"Loved it !!! Great location. Beautiful, spacious and clean !!! Fantastic views and the sound of crashing waves was amazing. The pool was the grandkids' favorite thing to do in Hawaii. The kitchen was huge and the check-in was very easy. We hope to come back someday. And the mystery is solved. I thought the house looked familiar. After I got home, I found a picture of the same house with the pool. We had stayed there in 2009 !!! "

"Great little bungalow tucked away in paradise. Check-in was easy, kitchen supplies were sufficient for the two of us and wifi was more than sufficient. It’s “off the beaten path”, but if you want a touch of tranquil Hawaii, this place will transport you there"

"The space is beautiful inside and out, we struggled with the gate lock the first couple of times we used it, it started to loosen up the more we used it. The frogs come alive at night and give you a symphony. If you’re sensitive to noise while sleeping bring ear plugs. We will absolutely stay here again."

"May be one of the best places I’ve stayed at. I was able to relax, and feel at peace. The cottage was comfortable, clean and had a well set up kitchen, three lanai and lovely decor. The beauty of the surroundings was wonderful; trees, plants, ocean, and our own good luck gecko:). The owners were kind and respectful of our time there. Putting my phone away for a bit, other than taking photos also increased my joy. Thank you David and ClayWe hope to be back again soon!"
"This property was great for our stay on the Hilo side of the island. It was clean and well stocked. The host was great and responded to any question we had, before or after arrival. With 2 teenage girls on the trip, it was nice to have 3 bedrooms. We will definitely consider staying again if/when we get to come back. "

"We enjoyed our stay here. It was a great home base for exploring Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and other sights on the Big Island. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfy. We walked to the ocean in the morning for great views of the coast and spent a lot of time on the screened porch enjoying the trees and flowers in the yard. They even grow their own pineapples! Craig and Patti are great hosts. Patti notified us about the Kilauea eruption. Unfortunately we missed the show because we were already on the way to Kona to catch our flight. "
