“We were greeted by very helpful and enthusiastic staff . They informed us of all the amenities available ( parking / Swimming Pool ) and also Breakfast Times/‘Location . The interior layout is stunning , a ‘colonial’ house with lot of different rooms for you to relax / read / share a drink etc . The views of the surrounding hills and towards the Coast are truly stunning . You get a real feel for what Madeira is all about , beautiful n natural landscapes , plunging Cliffs into the sea and of……

“This place is terrible. Not enough staff, unhelpful staff (no offer to help with luggage etc.), check in process was slow, room was unclean and it’s run down. Just a weird vibe and I’d never stay here again. ”

“Das Rauchen auf den eigenem Zimmerbalkonen war nicht erlaubt ohne, dass dies zuvor bekannt war. Das Personal war im Allgemeinen nicht hilfsbereit und man fühlte sich bei Anliegen als Belastung. Die Zimmer sind gut, aber in die Jahre gekommen. Die Balkontür schleift (übrigens bei allen Zimmern). Der Kleiderschrank ist eine Zumutung, wenn man mehr als eine Person ist (Schiebetürendilemma). Die Türen schlagen und hört man über den ganzen Flur. Die Stimmung und Atmosphäre gleicht einem Hauptbahnhof……
