“Stick with the resort food, the restaurants (dukes and cafe portifino are not great, especially at their prices) but the sushi on site and the bar restaurant are very good. The pool is beautiful, great beach access, luau was fun. Check out gaylords rum tour, best part of the trip!”

“The first room that I paid for through Expedia and checked in was super hot they did not turn on the AC before we arrived so it was like 90°. We had three twin beds and one small AC. It was not acceptable so we asked if we can be moved. They moved us into a cottage which ended up costing 90 extra dollars for the night, but it had three small ACs And definitely was worth the upgrade for a better night sleep it was extremely hot and humid we was not able to get any of the amenities. “Great value stay in Kauai, especially for families. This is probably the best value hotel we’ve stayed at in Hawaii. It’s not a luxury resort, but it offers everything you need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained without feeling outdated. The location is a huge plus. It’s close to the airport and within easy walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, where you can find restaurants and a grocery store. Not needing to drive for meals or snacks was extremely convenient. The……

“Loved the amenities”

“Staff excellent, poke best ever location plus's. Negatives were 1 towl in bathroom when arrived, Worst Bed Ever in over 3000 hotels I finally complained the 3rd day when my back was going out and they replaced the mattress, extra charges galore. AIf this place was remodeled and cleaned up a few issues it I would recommend it but too many issues.”

“The resort is self is old, but the location is awesome and most of the people that work. There are very friendly except for one gentleman who is extremely rude. They really need to have their rooms a little bit cleaner.”

But that is the only complaint, everything else is good.”
