“I didn't like that the television was located facing a bed but not both of them. I couldn't adjust the television sound on the remote or switch the channels from the bed closest to the bathroom. The breakfast delivery bag was great.”

“No staff on site to check us in. An envelope with instructions was left for us in the lobby (main door unlocked at ALL times). Found the room unlocked with the key hanging on the wall inside. The whole check in process is a security concern. The web site says free self-parking. There is street parking in front but limited to 3 hours. We called the management number. An operator answering the call tried to connect us to the management but got no answer. We left a message but never got a call or……

“We had a wonderful stay at Chincoteague Inn over the weekend. The room was clean and well maintained, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We had a comfortable stay without any issues. The complimentary coffee in the morning was also surprisingly good. One unexpected bonus was the location. We planned to have dinner at Captain Zack's Seafood just across the street, and the wait time was about two hours. Instead of waiting at the restaurant, we were able to relax comfortably in……

Rooms may all be water “view” but not all are water “front”. Yes, there’s a view of Asateague Island and the marshes from the docks but you can’t see ponies from there—at least not w/o binoculars. It’s a good distance across that water!”
