“Everything superb, loved the room styling, newly refurbished feel, spotless clean. Top notch leisure facilities (could add poolside plant life and steam room scent maybe), gym full of new tech & choices with river view window. There was even a gym ball and mat in my club room. All staff helpful and prompt. I've stayed at other village hotels, this one was the best”

“Check in was easy and the staff were amazing during my entire stay. I stayed in a single room, the room was surprisingly spacious and well laid out and had a decent sized bathroom. Couple of things to note: Room was on the third floor, there is no elevator. Not too much of a problem as the stairs are not steep or narrow. Room was in the”attic space” so being just over 5’ tall wasn’t too much of a problem, but anyone taller may find it a bit of a problem. Room had great skylights with……

“This hotel is always welcoming. I like the peace of the location and the absence of the big chain feel. Staff are like family and hotel has character. This stay over Xmas was enjoyable and provided a good base for family visits. Breakfast is legendary and a great start to the day. ( I have one breakfast credit I will be back to claim 😊) Bed was comfortable and shower was good those are the big asks. It has a small bar area that is quaint. The only improvement would be some type of evening……

“The staff were very helpful and attentive. The suite was large but dated. Everything worked how it should and the spa facilities were brilliant. The breakfast was a bit basic and the same everyday but it filled us up. The location was easy to get to and the place looked exactly the same as the pictures.”
