"According to the listing, the property has AC. That is not true. It had a tiny portable unit that wasn't on when we entered and didn't cool once it was turned on. It also had a window unit that had no place to plug in. There were bugs in multiple areas. The property was not habitable, so we ended up booking a hotel room in a nearby town. VRBO compensated us partially but the owner was unwilling to refund any of our money even though we did not stay in the property. "

The neighborhood also has several good local restaurants just steps away, and of course, everything that Newport has to offer is close by. "The sunsets were amazing, and access to the bike path for running was fantastic. Comfortable furniture for relaxing was sparse. And chairs for eating in the kitchen. Bathroom could benefit from increased space to place toiletries. I am aware this is a newly renovated unit that recently opened as a rental, overall, we had a lovely stay."

"The property consists of two rental units but this fact is not obvious from the pictures on the website. We did not get the rooftop deck with a view of the harbor. That belongs to the other unit. The sewer pipes are enclosed in the paper-thin walls of the first floor bedroom of our unit so every time someone flushes the toilet, uses the sink, takes a shower, you can hear water flowing through the pipes followed by loud clanging sound.
