“Such a warm welcome from Kirsty. Lovely comfortable room with beautiful shower. The most interesting breakfast menu using home grown produce used imaginatively. Kirsty was warm and friendly and provided everything that a guest could wish for. as As the house is on a busy road we thought it might be noisy but it was very quiet. First rate! ”

“The hosts were very helpful. I've never stayed anywhere with a toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving cream and a disposable razor in the bathroom. The location was a 10 minute walk out of town, but there was a chippy nearby. Rather than eat my takeaway in my room I was invited to use the dining area and supplied with cutlery. The breakfast was good as well.”

“I spent 3 nights and overall had an enjoyable stay. The room was a good size, very clean, and the bed very comfy. Only slight disappointment was that the advertised fridge was not in the room; I was expecting this to keep drinks cold and for packed lunches. Check in was done online and very easy. Whilst this was quick and efficient it meant the personal touch was lacking and I did not see anyone else during my stay. Great location on the promenade with pubs, restaurants, and the station within……

“Interesting one. Stables is quite secluded within a large park. I arrived in the evening. I was the only guest and there was a message directing me to my room. Excellent bedroom lots of space, well appointed bathroom with bath and shower. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in for a long time. Room information provides suggestions for places to eat but it’s a bit of a trek to the main road and a bit confusing in the dark. Freshly cooked breakfast was really good ”
