“My wife and I got away for a long weekend after being kid-free. We brought kayaks and wanted to explore the area. We enjoyed the location very much, with easy access to Hoodsport and Hama Hama. The access to the water wasn't as easy as we hoped, but the fact that there's a little county park in front of the house did work out for us. The neighbors seem very protective of the beach though, so that's weird. Luckily the smoke from the Bear Gulch fire didn't come down low enough to bother us either,……

“This was a special place for our group of six friends to spend a long weekend - cozy, unique, and kind of magical. We cooked, we hiked, we simply sat outside taking in the sound, and enjoyed wonderful food at Zamorana, Ramble, and Snapdragon. We wished we could have stayed longer. Alycia was a kind and responsive host.One tip for travelers – if you are renting a car, make sure it has four-wheel-drive (I’m still shocked they even rent minivans without it)!
