“This hotel has a very nice view and is a great choice for shooting or watching the stars. Their service staff is very friendly and will assist you very well with things to do at the top of the mountain to fix inconveniences. The rooms are slightly smaller than similarly priced hotels, but I think the starry sky at night definitely makes up for it, and the balcony on the side of the house offers a great starry sky experience. “Very clean property and rooms. Nice continental breakfast. Hotel is older and rooms are smaller but has had upgrades done to the rooms. Such as new furniture and paint, very nicely decorated. Great water pressure, which is amazing after a day of traveling. We did have an issue with our air conditioner not working but it was a cooler night so we didn't need it that badly. Did not report it until we checked out. Still a great experience overall!”

“Right in downtown Mancos. Small room with shower. Mattress lumpy, not comfortable. The upstairs area is quite charming with a sitting area and a large full kitchen where we made our lunches. Very clean. Be careful when you pay- you are offered the opportunity to add a tip and without thinking I tapped 20% on a bill of about $400. I wish I had said “no tip” and just left cash on the nightstand. When I asked the owner about it she said all the tip goes to the cleaning staff and offered a refund. I……
