“I honestly was surprised to walk in and smell the cleanliness right away. It’s an old hotel but they have remodel enough to make it comfortable to stay. This is very small hotel with limited amenities, but the necessary shall say. Only thing would say they need and ice machine, but I could be wrong and they may have one and did not see, didn’t ask either. They offer continental breakfast with a variety from 5 am which was very convenient for me and considering that all hotels I’ve stayed in……

“Waited at front desk 45mins before anyone checked me in”

“We weren’t planning on a stay in Jasper but a bad storm forced us off the highway. Was delighted with property from friendly welcoming front desk to a clean room with great beds and good linens. It was quiet, AC worked perfectly and the breakfast buffet was good. Completely satisfied!”

“This hotel is disgusting. We will not stay here again. Most Comfort Inn I’ve seen are nice . This one makes them all look bad. It needs to be shut down. The ceilings are falling in. There’s no ac in the hallways . It has a musty smell. It’s dark and dingy and needs to be updated. The rooms are gross. The couch and carpet look 100 years old. The couch was disgusting. It needs to be burned. The carpet needs to be ripped up. The walls need repainting . They’re yellow and stained. The microwave……

“Excellent communication with the host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I was very impressed with how well the cabin was stocked with anything you may need. We found that the WiFi was excellent! Our cell phones worked just fine on wifi calling no problems at all. Would recommend this cabin and would stay here again. ”

“We had a great weekend on the lake. It’s so peaceful! Kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies, plenty of towels provided. We didn’t catch any fish but we tried!”

“My family had a wonderful time here! I would have given 5 stars, but small incident occurred where my nephew was chased by a neighbor's dog which caused him to run into the porch's fence which collapsed due to age and rotting. I explained this to the owner and he seem to be very understanding and had stated that the dog had posed some issues in the past as well. I did inform him he could check the cameras to verify my integrity too. During our stay we ended up running into an old family friend……

“Great place to stay for a trip on the water.House was very clean and had so many essentials we needed for cooking.Dock was very nice.Only complaint is that listing stated working tram to dock but during our stay it was being replaced (understandable but with infants and toddler the tram would have been nice) ”
