“Beautiful cabin in woods with view of mtns! Off the beaten path, but still close to anything needed. Cabin is restored from an older cabin, but has all modern conveniences. Highly recommend if looking to stay in a restored older cabin while visiting Charlottesville area.”

“Very comfortable, well appointed house, with a spacious kitchen/dining room, detached playroom, plenty of room for kids to roam outside, and ample parking. Although the house is directly off Massanutten Drive, it was quiet and we had no adjacent neighbors so it felt like we had plenty of privacy for our group of nine people.”

“They cabin was beautiful and more than met my expectations! The front porch was so nice with the hummingbirds coming to visit! It was so hot out but the cabin was cool and comfortable. Saw so many deer, dogs and horses! It was a great little trip! Would lo e to come down in the fall, it would be gorgeous!”

“This home is a beautiful property with a lot of space for your family to stay at while traveling to this part of Virginia! There are multiple options for sleeping, the kitchen is very well stocked, and there are 3 bathrooms, all with showers. The back deck is very nice for sitting outside in the morning to enjoy coffee/tea and watch wildlife. It is conveniently located near several area attractions. We were here to hike at Shenandoah National Park (highly recommended) but on a rainy day we also……

“One (probably the smallest) of several lodgings on the property. Overall, a pretty cool place to stay. The whole unit has a subtle sway to rock you to sleep. Personally, I loved it. We stayed in 90 degree weather and the A/C was a LIFESAVER. My only real complaint was one of the other guests in the castle kept leaving the common kitchen a bit messy. Thinking about coming back and trying the hobbit house. We pretty much kept to ourselves, but there are plenty of common areas to hang out.”

“The cabin was very beautiful, clean, and spacious. The owner was awesome with great communication. I can’t wait to go back!”

“Our group of 10 senior golfers could spread out and enjoy the rec room, living room, and cooking amenities for our annual four-day trip. We cooked breakfast each morning, golfed all day and returned after dinner to relax The hot tub and out side sitting areas saw plenty of use. Looking forward to our next visit!”

“This is a great property for large parties! The 13 of us had plenty of room to spread out and the main living area could accommodate all of us comfortably. The screen porch was a great hangout spot in the mornings and the deck had incredible views. We used the propane grill several times. The upstairs bed could benefit from a mattress topper but overall everything was very comfortable and we had a great stay.”

“Absolutely LOVED everything about our stay. The house is beautiful. Everything was well stocked. The towels feel amazing and there were plenty available. Check-in and out was seamless. The location was perfect - far enough away to be secluded and private but still close to things we wanted to do. We really enjoyed the hot tub at night and enjoying the view from the porch in the mornings. We will definitely be booking again soon! ”
