“Floors in main area, elevator and room not clean. No soap in one bathroom main floor, breakfast was poorly stocked. Only one luggage cart and it was not available. Staff was not present at front desk (main lobby empty). ”

“Good start. Needs bathroom remodel and or 1/2 bath upstairs. Master bedroom door could not be closed maybe needs new hardware. Needs sitting bench in master bedroom for putting on shoes. Matress in double bed needs to be replaced is uncomfortable. More towel racks. Otherwise great kitchen, wifi and living area Thank you!”

“The house had everything we our family of 5 needed. Stayed one night but would have been happy to stay there for 3-4 days. Family loved the nostalgic decor.Didn’t bother us but only one tv in the house. Instead of watching tv, family played board and card games, great time. ”

I would recommend this home to anyone with a reason to stay in Roanoke! We also enjoyed dinner in town. If we weren't busy with other activities, it would have been fun to explore Roanoke more!”

“Beautiful home! Gorgeous deck. Nicely stocked. Host was great with communication. This home has fantastic views of Shriner lake. The furniture and decor are lovely and classy. We were a bit disappointed to not be able to Use the fire pit because the dock was piled up next to it. That was something we were looking forward to and had purchased s’more ingredients. If traveling with small children bring 2 gates. There are some dangerous stairs. Also - heads up - the master bedroom……

“This is such a lovely property right on the lake. We loved the large patio and took advantage of the firebowl in the evenings. We also appreciated being able to have our doggies with us. We also like that it's close to two golf courses we enjoy playing. ”
