“Our room was clean, but smelled of old smoke -- either from before it became a smoke-free room or by a previous guest who did not follow the signs. Could use a bit of upgrading in the bathroom. The toilet was wobbly and flooring was both stained and pulling up in the corner. But the location was convenient for where we needed to be the next morning and the check-in staff was very kind.”

“Do not stay here. My wife and I have stayed in dozens of bnb’s over the years. This is clearly the worst. Filthy, run-down, dingy, trashy. Either the photos and reviews in the listing are fake or very old. The place is literally falling apart.It’s described as pet-friendly, but there were numerous ant baits on the floor in easy reach of pets (or children). We found one in our dog’s mouth just as she began playing with it. Fortunately, the plastic wasn’t punctured before we retrieved……

“We had a wonderful stay at this Lake Chamberlain property and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.The setting is absolutely beautiful. The lake views, abundant bird life, and lack of noise and light pollution made for such a relaxing vacation. We enjoyed fishing from the dock, using the paddle boat, and simply spending time outdoors. The large deck with plenty of seating was one of our favorite features.The house is very spacious, comfortable, and well-suited for……
