We stayed at The Raeburn for one night on a recent trip to Edinburgh but wish we could have stayed a few more! The room was huge with lovely woodwork and a marble bathroom (the fixtures were top-notch with a huge tub, huge shower, double sink, and towel warmer). Our king-sized bed was very comfortable and there was also a large flat-screen TV. The elevator made it easy to get to our room and there was parking on-site. The staff was friendly and helpful. I have too many positive things to say to list them all. This is honesty the best lodging experience of my life. Great room. Great food. Peacocks! The best service in the know universe. Sample discontinued rare Scotch in the whisky room.
If you find yourself in Edinburgh, stay at Prestonfield House. You won't regret it.

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in the UK (and I've been staying at quite a few 5 star hotels). The staff was professional, friendly, and accomodating. They def pay attention to details and ensure we have the best experience. Even provided me some of the best local recs and I was quite impressed (and this is coming from a foodie like me)

Enjoyed our stay here. Room was a great size with comfortable beds. Location is excellent: 5 min walk to the castle, and around a variety of shops and restaurants and a very safe area. Staff was helpful and friendly.
The only “con” is parking for the hotel, which is about a 15 min walk away, so can be challenging if driving.

Convenient location allowed us to walk to all the attractions, shops, and endless dining options. The staff was friendly, the bartender was a super hard worker and great at his job, and the rooms were clean. The hotel locks the gate at night so you have to use your key to get in, which is a nice feature for safety. If you are a light sleeper, it might be too noisy for you. Not from inside, but the people outside late at night (our room was facing the street). I found it entertaining and added to...

Great hotel, and good hot breakfast options. The rooms were clean, modern, with great in room tea and coffee options. It's in a quiet area, with a 10-15 Uber ride to City center. I'd definitely stay here again

Owner Mark greeted us at Canny Mann. Very welcoming. Easy to park car in pub lot. Complimentary drink at pub. Stayed in champagne room. Brand new, large. Snack room nearby is nice- water, tea, coffee, cereal. Shops, restaurants nearby,as well as bus. 1.60 to city center, easy. We also walked to center, about 40min. No checkout required, just leave key in room door. Very easy. Feels like staying at a home in neighborhood.

A wonderful, old world boutique hotel. Room, bath, bed, accessories, comfort were excellent. Spacious, clean and beautiful views and grounds. It was a walk up, and at my age, this was an issue, but managed. I prepaid for breakfast which I don't recommend because the amount of food ( which was delicious & excellent) but too much. The board would have been plenty, but ordering breakfast after that resulted in not eating everything that was served. Staff was courteous and polite, though not...

This is a wonderful hotel. We will definitely stay here on future trips. The location is ideal and the employees so responsive. Then beds were super comfortable, I just wish they offered a top sheet in addition to the duvet for the weird Americans that are used to that. I'm sure we could have asked for one. We just loved our suite. Top choice

A wonderful stay at the apartment. Better than expected. We extended our stay for 10 days. The apartment is impeccable. On the 2nd floor with no lifts (only drawback if you have heavy luggage), accessible through a smart lock Tastefully furnished including everything that made our stay comfortable. Centrally located with transportation near by, yet away from the hustle. The hosts were generous and accommodating.
A highly recommended Edinburgh stay.

Close to the Edinburgh castle, and transportation to airport. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Elevator does not reach the 3rd floor, a wee annoying but not a problem for us.

While it was bizarre being above a shopping mall, the hotel was great. We stayed in a mobility-accessible room which was filled with thoughtful design choices. Loved having the kitchenette, too.
