"I booked 2 rooms here because the price seemed fair even though it was a little farther away from River Walk area where we were visiting. The mall across the street was handy (Tj Max, Krogers). "Peaceful retreat was exactly that. Just beautifully decorated; serene surroundings, quiet. Thankful that pets were welcome. Other guests in a connecting space tried to open the connecting door this morning. Glad it was locked. Overall very comfortable"

"It was a great place great location parking was a small issue. Didn’t need to be super clean but the bottom of the fridge and bottom of the garbage cans are very very dirty. Also there was no apron and no aluminum foil or saran wrap I’m not sure maybe we should’ve brought our own. Overall great communication ..."

Verified traveler

The night manager was very thorough and kind. He walked me to the room, turned on the TV and lights for me, asked me to check the bathroom to be sure they didn't miss towels, etc. Very nice place for the low price of $60 a night.
