“We had a very comfortable stay; the place was spotless, fresh towels and bedding and nice amenities like Keurig coffee pods& creamer. The location is very short walk to downtown. The host responded promptly to questions. The only drawback is the tiny circular staircase that takes you to the second floor bedrooms (the only shower is downstairs). The staircase is a safety concern in our minds. We ended up carrying our suitcases down the outside staircase to our cars.”

“We have stayed at countless VRBOs over the years but this was hands-down the most well-equipped place we have ever rented. This adorable little cabin was perfect for our needs! The host was extremely kind and communicative prior to our arrival but wow... her care for her guests was on parade once we walked through the front door. Many rentals have the bare minimums; this host obviously looked for every possible extra comfort she could provide. There was a box of chocolates and a welcome card, a……

“My husband and I fell in love with this place. It’s so quiet and peaceful, even though it’s just five minutes from town. The gazebo is the perfect spot to work or read while listening to the sounds of nature and the creek. Every morning we had breakfast on the deck, and in the evenings we sat by the fire pit, enjoying our peaceful moments. I highly recommend this place for a couples getaway.”

“Only caution for future guests is all the stairs needed to get to the home and inside, there is a spiral staircase that is narrow, steep and hard to negotiate, especially with luuggage or cooler. Seniors beware and those with canes, walkers or wheelchair will be unable to access this property.”

“Stayed in early April and it was the best cabin I've stayed at in Idyllwild. Perfect for up to 3 couples or a family of 6. Only a couple blocks from town. Beautiful large yard. Definitely plan to book again. Clean and spacious. Thank you John and Lara!”

Great ambiance inside and out. Location is good as well on De Portola Rd which has the more casual, family-owned wineries. Loved our stay, highly recommended!”
