Wild Fern Cabin in Beautiful Timberline Rim
A cozy cabin retreat tucked in the beautiful Timberline Rim Community. Only 1 hr from Portland, 15 min to Government Camp/Ski Bowl & minutes from amazing hiking, skiing & mountain biking & climbing.
Multiple restaurants, bars & groceries are all w/in a couple of miles, and a sweet family-owned cafe is right across the scenic Mt. Hood Hwy from the Timberline Rim Community. The space The cabin, surrounded by towering Doug Firs, offers plenty of space for parking and easy access (1 stair) for unloading vehicles.
The main level is a spacious open concept living room/dining/kitchen perfect for hanging out with your friends and family. It is filled with windows, has a cozy fireplace, a porch right out the front door and glass sliding doors provide access to the side yard sitting area. There is one bedroom with a queen bed and a bathroom with a tub and shower down the hall from the bedroom and living space.
The second floor offers three bedrooms. The main bedroom has a bathroom, a walk-in closet, and a small balcony. The second room has a queen bed and provides access to the third bedroom (we call it the kid's room) with two full-size beds and a small area with books, an art easel, and a few toys to help keep them busy.
Kitchen: stocked with essentials and local coffee and tea to enjoy in front of the fire.
Extras: - Lots of games & books inside and the garage turned game den/gear room has a ping pong table, dartboard & foosball table w/area to hang & dry your outdoor gear. - We have a baby gate (no substitute for watching your kiddos) and high chair. - A partially covered kennel outback for doggos. - A boot dryer for your ski/snowboard boots Guest access We offer self-check-in and full access to the whole house during their stay. Other things to note Accessibility: there is a gravel drive with one step up to the front porch and one step up into the house. The main floor offers access to one bedroom, kitchen/dining, bath, and living area.
